Ordering

food-pantry

We have a very simple and not too technical ordering process based around a six week cycle. All goods we purchase for members come from the wholesaler Lembas of Sheffield, itself an ethical cooperative.

For details of our order dates please contact our Secretary – secretary @ boltonwholefoodcoop.co.uk.

You have a choice of coming to our “order gathering” and selecting your items with other members over a convivial cup of Fairtrade tea or coffee (non-dairy milk available!) or, if you’re not able to attend, you can complete the order form which we’ll send you (or you can download below) and email it in to us. Every three months we have a meeting where we discuss the activities of the Coop, plan events, etc.

Please ignore the previous paragraph for now!! At present, due to the COVID-19 crisis we are not getting together in person but have established a Coronavirus-safe system whereby members place orders by email and collect them in specified time slots. We also open our store cupboard for general purchases, again using a safe system. Please place orders by email, using this form wherever possible, sent to our Secretary – secretary @ boltonwholefoodcoop.co.uk.

If you’d like details about our current “in stock” items please also contact our Secretary.

When we are able to hold physical order gatherings and meetings they start at 11:00am and take place at:

The Mutual Aid Centre (formerly The Greenhouse)
1 Quebec Place
Quebec Street
Deane
Bolton BL3 5JW
(next to the industrial units on Quebec St)

At present occasional meetings are taking place by Zoom.
